All right loyal followers…we’re up to book 8 now in The Wheel of Time Series! In this installation Nynaeve and Elayne are traveling back to Caemlyn with the Wise Women so that Elayne can claim her rightful place on the throne. Egwene fights to solidify herself as the Amyrlin Seat with authority over the Hall. Perrin is traveling the South West looking to deliver a message from Rand to The Prophet. Which leaves Rand, who starts a campaign to drive the Seanchan back to the seas of Ebou Dar.
I’m back on track with being engulfed by each and every storyline. There were a couple books in there (#5 for sure) that I just trudged through. Now I can’t get enough. Each storyline has so much mystery and/or action in it that I can’t help but speed through the pages. I really thought the battle between Rand’s army and the Seanchan would have been the epic finale to this novel, but Jordan follows it up with just a few chapters that set the cliffhangers that make you want to rush to the next book. I can’t wait to see what happens next!

ok, ok, ok…story time. I was trying to come up with a good pizza for this book. And I Googled “bloody pizza”, ya know, since there were so many epic fights in this one. I found out there was a BAD independent foreign film that was made with the exact same title. Much to my chagrin, I watched the trailer.
